Okuden (Reiki 2)

Reiki Level 2 is known as the Practitioner Level and will enable you to give Reiki treatments with confidence. It has been designed to further enhance and refine your ability to work with Reiki. The Distance Healing symbol and Reiki techniques are invaluable tools for giving Reiki treatments to people when they are not physically present.

By using the symbols and Kotodamas, you can use Reiki in an infinite number of ways: for example, you can send powerful energy onto a particular point, send balanced and harmonious energy into your feelings and emotions and perform healing beyond time and space, connecting your consciousness to a distant place, in the past or future in addition to the present.

 

In this in-person course, you will learn:

• Understand the symbols.
• Types of symbols and meanings.
• The purpose of the symbols.
• Purposes and types of Reiki sessions.
• A Reiki session for another person.
• Transcend space: distant Reiki sessions.
• Transcend time: send Reiki to the past.
• Transcend time: send Reiki to the future.
• Original Japanese Usui Reiki Techniques: Tanden treatment, Navel treatment, Propensity treatment.
• Self-Purification and Self-Development Exercises.
• Gendai Reiki Hatsurei Ho.
• Self-Purification Exercises.
• Cell-Energizing Exercise

You will receive three authentic and individual Gendai Reiki Level II Okuden attunements which will allow you to significantly increase your energy, receive three Reiki Level II symbols and enhance your healing abilities.

 

Course schedule

This is a two-day in-person course.

 

Entry requirements

• Gendai Reiki Ho Level 1 Shoden certificate with a minimum of two months since the Gendai Reiki Level I Shoden class.
• Students who wish to move forward in their Reiki training should regularly attending Reiki Practitioner Expansion sessions (a minimum of one session per month), to ensure consistent progress and engagement with the Reiki discipline and its practice.

• An internationally recognised Gendai Reiki Ho Okuden Level II certificate.

 

Teacher

This training is lead by Giancarlo Serra in English.

Giancarlo trained with Hiroshi Doi, founder of the Gendai Reiki system and president of the Gendai Reiki Healing Association. He completed the Gendai Reiki Master Special training in Osaka, Japan.

 

After completing this course you will be able to:

• Take a Gendai Reiki Ho Level III Shinpiden class after at least 6 months of practice (see the requirements in the Reiki Practitioner Expansion webpage).
• Join the Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma course after at least 2 months of practice (see the requirements in the Reiki Practitioner Expansion webpage).
• Become a Practitioner Member of the UK Reiki Federation after a minimum of 9 months since your Gendai Reiki Ho Level I Shoden Class.
• Become a Practitioner Member of the Gendai Reiki Network.
• Receive ongoing support via online and in-person sessions of the Reiki Practitioner Expansion.

 

Cost

The tutor fee for the training, supervision and certification is £250.

 

International Accreditation

This Gendai Reiki Level II Shoden training has been verified and approved against the current recommended training standards for Professional Reiki Training as specified by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. All assessments and verifications have been conducted by qualified Assessors and Verifiers of the UK Reiki Federation.

Membership of Other Reiki Organisations

After completing your Level II training, you will be eligible for membership with the Gendai Reiki Healing Association, the UK Reiki Federation, The Reiki Association, The Reiki-Guild, and other UK-based Reiki organisations.

 

Other lineages

For most Japanese Gendai Reiki Masters in Japan, changing the Master is a big deal. A person who has learned Reiki from another lineage, even if that person is already a Master, must start with Level I Shoden if they want to learn Gendai Reiki. Gendai Reiki adheres to the philosophy and pure energy line of Usui Sensei. If students are taught from the middle level, they will lack the energy transmission and theories of the levels that were not taught.
