“Reiki” is the flow of Living Energy that permeates and sustains All That Is. It is present everywhere, at every moment. Like a gentle breeze, it renews and harmonises all that it touches—within matter, understood as energy vibrating at a denser frequency.
Reiki, Chi, Holy Spirit, and Prana are different names for this universal current of loving, life-giving energy. In essence, the One Reality that underlies everything expresses itself in many forms, meeting us within the tangible experience of human
incarnation.
This workshop will guide you into the world of Reiki and Animal Reiki, combining practical experience, intuition, and scientific research. Through guided meditations, clear explanations, and moments of sharing, we will explore how Reiki energy can promote balance and well-being in both humans and animals.
We will discover how animals perceive energy, how they can benefit from respectful contact, and how Reiki can be integrated—sensitively and competently—into a veterinary context. Part of the journey is dedicated to science: we will present the available studies and what current research tells us about the effectiveness of Reiki in animals.

Teachers
Claudia Barbieri is a holistic veterinarian who combines scientific knowledge with complementary therapies to support the well-being of companion animals. She earned her veterinary degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and completed a specialization in Homeopathy at Escola Gaúcha de Homeopatia (EGH-RS), Brazil. In her practice, she integrates homeopathy, Reiki, flower therapy, and phytonutrients to support animals physically, emotionally, and behaviourally. She is an Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, an ICRT Animal Reiki Master, and a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master. In addition, she is an independent researcher exploring the use of Reiki in both veterinary and human health. She is also a professional member of the Reiki Membership Association and serves as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors of the Center for Reiki Research.
