Reiki Controls the Energy Flow Automatically

A Reiki practitioner becomes a conduit for Reiki; as much Reiki as is needed flows into the client. The practitioner must NOT control the process or the outcome during the session.

Everything will be adjusted automatically. If the client needs more energy, Reiki flows in more. If the client has excess energy, Reiki will remove it. Problems arise when the practitioner tries to control something intentionally.

A Reiki session must be safe and effective. It is safe if there is no negative effect on either the practitioner or client. It is effective if a client’s spirit shines. You should not look for an immediate and visible effect from a session. The Reiki light in the Universe shines from your spirit when your life (true-self, soul, sometimes referred to as higher-self) resonates with the Universe.

Precautions when giving Reiki sessions:

(1) Do not give a session to those who do not want it. You cannot force someone to heal.

(2) Explain about the healing crisis to your client

(3) Do not make it mysterious and mystical

(4) Place hands gently, or hover

(5) Ask your client for permission to touch them

(6) Do not criticise or deny modern medicine

(7) Do not pursue it when you encounter an unexplainable and mysterious experience
