When Healing Really Happens
When Healing Really Happens

There are many people who can fall under the category of healers. There are therapists, coaches, and even teachers who can be amazing healers for a variety of people.

People think that Healers and Therapists bring about the healing. They do not. Healers and Therapists facilitate energies which help you to bring about your own healing from within by letting go of conscious or sub-conscious patterns which hold you captive.

A definition of healing

‘A treatment that involves the transfer of energy through the healer to the recipient. It promotes self-healing by relaxing the body, releasing tensions and strengthening the body’s own immune system. Healing is natural and non-invasive with the intention of bringing the recipient into a state of balance and wellbeing on all levels’ – (NFSH Healing Trust)

Sometimes the release or dissolution of these patterns is ready to go and the energies from the practitioner may just be enough to trigger the final release of the pattern. That is what happens when we often see an immediate cure after healing.

However, more commonly it is a process of getting ever deeper into the energy and consciousness of the receiver to allow deep healing to occur and this happens by bringing Spiritual Healing Light into the consciousness to illuminate the problem from within. Hence this process allows the receiver to see, perceive and understand their own issues as the light illuminates their consciousness enabling this deeper insight into themselves. When you can see and understand, then you can work to let go.

When the healing energy brings the issue out in the open, the receiver can then often identify with it on some level and then learn to understand how the issue is undermining them. If it is a small issue, it may disappear by itself with a little effort focussing upon it. If it is a larger issue, then more work is needed. We asked some of

Healers assist us to heal ourselves by enhancing our natural healing processes, as do all other health care professionals. Since our life energy fields are the foundation, or blueprint, for our physical bodies and are a deeper expression of who we are, bringing them back into a balanced health pattern will return us to health.

Healers do this by charging, clearing, restructuring, and rebalancing our energy fields. A major key here is that our life energy and our consciousness are not separable — so healing work includes healing all aspects of our consciousness.”

Sadly, there is too little attention paid to healing in medicine. The healers of medicine are its physicians. And they almost always seek to cure. While healing is something that is, at its core, a biological process, it involves much more than biology. Good healers try to create environments — molecular, chemical, psychological, emotional, cognitive — that do more than facilitate success in the battle against disease. Healing requires the
accommodation of a person to disease and disability.

“Healing is a different type of pain. It’s the pain of becoming aware of the power of one’s strength and weakness, of one’s capacity to love or do damage to oneself and to others, and of how the most challenging person to control in life is ultimately yourself.” ― Caroline Myss

William Bengston, The Energy Cure: Unraveling the Mystery of Hands-On Healing

“What I am sure of, through personal experience, is that this kind of healing is a natural system, not a magical one, which is why it’s also an imperfect one. Sometimes I can help, and sometimes I can’t.

What I endeavour to do is to offer patients the whole spectrum – metaphorically, white light – in hopes they can subtract from it what they need in order to return to health. That’s different from my healing them, though out of habit I still use that word. It’s also why I’m always surprised when patients thank me for restoring them to health.

While those were my hands moving around, I never feel as if I was the healer. But is it really necessary for me to tell you these things? In a national survey forty percent of all Americans admitted to having had at least one profound mystical experience that took them beyond time and space, with many others perhaps too shy to report such experiences. That was touching the Source. And the Source doesn’t pay attention to national borders.

In countries where the spiritual is woven more firmly into daily life, the numbers are likely to be much higher. My hope is that all those who read my book take from it an expanded sense of the resources offered by the Universe, along with a greater awareness of their own potential in calling upon that abundance, not only for healing, but for all aspects of life. The possibilities are infinite. The limitations are our own and we need not faith, not belief, but trust.”

Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to remove blocks. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated.

Spiritual healing is not linked to a particular religion. It is not faith healing – even very sceptical people can be healed.

The word ‘spiritual’ originates from the Latin word ‘spiritus’ meaning ‘breath of life’. The spiritual aspect refers to spiritual energy working at a deep level on our spiritual being. The healing involves the transfer of energy; in other words, it is not from the healer him or herself, but the healer links with ‘Universal’ or Divine energy to channel healing for the mind, body and spirit.

Components of healing:

• Universal energy or spiritual force (non religious) can be directed by intention

• When focused on the human body, via the aura (human energy field), it raises the ‘spiritual vibrations’ of that person

• This improves health and allows one’s highest nature to unfold

• For optimum healing, repeated treatments needed to overcome the body’s inertia

• When people are ill, it is common for them to say that they are ‘low in energy’; conversely when people are healthy, we talk about them bursting with energy.

Spiritual healing helps us get firmly grounded and stronger in our core, so that whatever happens outside of us is perceived by us as fleeting and completely manageable events. We can’t stop life’s events. Life means movement, positive and negative. Life means change. When we transform in the soul level, none of life’s vicissitudes gets to us.

A spiritually well person will still feel all the negative emotions, such as anger, hatred, jealousy, and sadness. But won’t get carried away by them. Won’t identify with them, but rather treat them as passing endeavours.
