Have you ever unintentionally heard a conversation of someone speaking about you without them knowing you are present? Or perhaps listened in on another person’s conversation?
You can use the same concept and effectively imagine someone else speaking words of praise about you.
You can use this concept and personalise it as you wish. You can try and use of all your senses to make it as real as possible.
Remember, your subconscious mind is habit-based and controls 95% of your life. It’s like a computer processor that can multi-task, is present-based and is also involved in dreams.
The subconscious mind is primal, always awake and takes everything literally. It communicates in images, feelings and metaphors focusing on emotion rather than logic or reason.
The subconscious mind is subjective and does not differentiate between negative and positive. It doesn’t think or reason independently, it simply obeys the commands it receives from your conscious mind.
Explore the sensations within when you feel as if someone is really talking about what a great joy your success brings them.
The “Eavesdrop technique”
According to Dr Joseph Murphy, our job is to get our subconscious mind to accept the idea of whatever it is we want to achieve. However, the subconscious mind will initially reject it. It can only be programmed over time through an intensity of effort and emotion.
The amazing thing about the subconscious mind is that once it accepts an idea, it will simply begin to execute it. When you imagine the delight of accomplishing your dream or goal, the subconscious mind will transform your imagination into reality.
So, act and feel like the successful person that you wish to become, which will help you inch closer to your goal.
Your goal can be easily achieved using the “Eavesdrop technique”.
To do this technique, first, get into a meditative state.
Then, imagine that you overhear a conversation between your friends and acquaintances talking about you, and about the fact that you’ve accomplished your goal.
Imagine hearing very clearly the things they say.
Imagine in great detail who is talking and what they are saying – the tone of voice, the word they use, and how this makes you feel.
Internalize the feelings that you feel when you hear that conversation and turn these feelings into real feelings.
Think that some of your friends are saying words of praise and admiration, some are excited, some are surprised.
Whatever each of them says, internalize it and feel that it has become real.
Anything that is impressed upon your subconscious mind with your conscious mind will eventually birth itself into existence in the physical plane.
You impress your subconscious mind with your thoughts and feelings. The subconscious transcends reason and will bring about whatever situation it sees fit to get the job done.
“What you feel you are, always dominates what you would like to be; therefore to be realized, the wish must be felt as a state that is, rather than a state that is not. Sensation precedes manifestation and is the foundation upon which all manifestation rests” – Neville Goddard
